Legni e lavorazione
Le parti massicce della Collezione Mirabeau (corpo, cimasa,cornici, basamento
e profili) sono realizzate in toulipier americano (Liriodendron Tulipifera). Una
specie di latifoglia molto diffusa nelle regioni orientali del Nord America.
Caratteristica principale di questo legno è la venatura fine e regolare che lo
rende particolarmente apprezzato.
Le parti impiallacciate (frontali, parti laterali, schienali a vista e piani) sono
realizzate in ciliegio Europeo “dogato”.
“Impiallacciatura dogata” consiste nel comporre i fogli di impiallaccio in maniera
alternata e in diverse larghezze. Questa produzione artigianale trasmette al
mobile un carattere massiccio e fa risaltare la sapienza costruttiva dei nostri
artigiani.
Ferramenta ornamentale
Per valorizzare e sottolineare il carattere proprio di ogni collezione, la scelta
della giusta ferramenta decorativa è fondamentale.
Per questo motivo abbiamo impreziosito la Collezione Mirabeau con accessori
realizzati in ottone brunito ed anticato.
Ripiani
Tutti i ripiani a vista, inseriti nei mobili, sono mobili e/o regolabili a diverse
altezze (si vedano maggiori dettagli nella descrizione di ogni singolo modello)
e sono realizzati:
- in legno con spessore di 17 mm (in tutti i mobili)
- in legno con spessore di 23 mm (nelle librerie)
I perni reggiripiani realizzati in ottone si possono inserire in più posizioni lungo
i fianchi del mobile.
Tessuti
I modelli imbottiti vengono realizzati nei tessuti appartenenti alle categorie 2,
3 e 4 del nostro attuale campionario tessuti.
Illuminazione
Le vetrine e gli elementi con ante in vetro della parete componibile, della
Collezione Mirabeau, possono essere dotate, a richiesta, di impianto di
illuminazione interna con luci LED (opzione I4) secondo le norme CEI e sono in
linea con le Norme UE per i trasformatori e i faretti. In caso di surriscaldamento
le lampade si spengono automaticamente.
Qual’ora il cliente fosse intenzionato ad inserire (nelle vetrine) l’illuminazione
sarà tenuto a forare il mobile, con le dovute istruzioni, provvedere all’istallazione
dell’impianto utilizzando personale qualificato.
Compreso nel kit di illuminazione sono punto luce, trasformatore, collegamento
a incastro e cavi.
Le operazioni di montaggio devono essere eseguite solo da personale
specializzato.

woods and workmanship
WorkmanshipAll solid sections of the Collection Mirabeau (such as cornices, bases,
mouldings, and frames) are made from American tulipwood (the tulip tree: Liriodendron
tulipifera), a deciduous tree that is widely found throughout the eastern part of North
America with a very even and finely structured grain.
Fronts, side sections, visible back walls, and panels are veneered with variegated
European cherry wood (planked). The veneer strips are assembled in a “variegated”
pattern in the veneer formation. In so doing, the handcrafted production method and
the solid character are especially emphasized.
Decorative Fittings
We have always attached great importance to the careful coordination of the decorative
fittings with the furniture, in order to underscore the unique style of each collection. For
the Collection Mirabeau, we use high-quality, decorative fittings in brass that have been
antiqued and burnished.
Shelving
Wood and glass shelving is adjustable in height or removable (see the description of
details) and are constructed as follows:
- in wood, with a thickness of 17 mm / 0.67 in. (all other furniture).
- in wood, with a thickness of 23 mm / 0.91 in. (all bookcases)
The brass supports may be used in the positions provided.
Fabrics
The upholstered furniture may only be covered with the fabrics from Price Categories 2,
3, or 4 (see the Selva Fabric Collection).
Lighting
The optionally available interior lighting systems (Option I4) for the china cabinets of the
Collection Mirabeau carry the inspection mark VDE and comply with EU specifications
for transformers and halogen lamps. In the unlikely event of overheating, the lamps will
switch off automatically.
The lights, which are delivered uninstalled, are placed on the rear edge of the selected
glass shelf. The wiring is led through the back wall at a corresponding spot (see
instruction for assembly) and is connected by means of a special plug. When assembling
the lights, the holes that are necessary must be drilled. The lighting sets include light
bulbs, transformers, and wiring including the corresponding plug connectors.
Please note that the lamp set should be professionally installed by a qualified workman.
