Woods and Craftsmanship
The solid sections of the Collection Ermitage, such as
the cornices, bases, lathed “onion legs”, pilasters, and
mouldings are made from linden, while the columns are
made from American tulipwood (from the tulip tree –
Liriodendron tulipifera).
The side sections, visible back walls, and panels are
veneered in European cherry. For the fronts of beds and
drawers, Selva uses wooden materials that are modeled on
root veneer.
The columns are available only in the contrasting black
finish.
HÖLzER
Holz und Verarbeitung
Die Massivteile der Collection Ermitage (Kranz, Sockel,
gedrechselte zwiebelfüße, Lisenen und Profilleisten) sind in
Linde gefertigt. Die Säulen sind aus Amerikanisch Tulipier
(Tulpenbaum: Liriodendron tulipifera).
Seitenteile, sichtbare Rückwände und Platten sind in
Europäischem Kirschbaumholz furniert.
Für die Fronten der Betten und Laden verwenden wir
Holzwerkstoffe, die dem Wurzelfurnier nachempfunden
sind. Die Säulen sind nur in der Kontrastoberfläche in
schwarz erhältlich.

Legni e lavorazioni
Le parti massiccie della Collezione Ermitage (corpo, cimasa,
basamento, cipolle tornite, spalle e profili ) sono realizzate
in tiglio. Le colonne sono realizzate in toulipier americano
(Liriodendron Tulipifera).
Le parti impiallacciate (piani, schienali e fianchi ) sono in
ciliegio europeo. I pannelli frontali del letto e le facciate
cassetti sono impiallacciati in radica precomposta di pioppo
e fascette in ciliegio europeo.
Le colonne decorative sono sempre lucidate in finitura tinta
nera di contrasto.
