WOODS
Woods and Workmanship
The solid elements of the Solitaire collection (chairs, table
legs, and chests of drawers) are made from beech. Fronts,
side sections and visible bottom sections are veneered with
variegated cherry (planked). The veneer strips are assem-
bled in a “variegated” pattern in the veneer formation. In
so doing, the handcrafted production method and the solid
character are especially emphasized.
HÖLZER
Holz und Verarbeitung
Die Massivteile der Collection Solitaire (Stuhl, Füße von Tisch
und Kommode) sind aus Buchenholz. Fronten, Seitenteile
und sichtbare Böden sind in Kirschbaumholz bunt furniert
(beplankt). Die Furnierstreifen werden „bunt“ im Furnierbild
zusammengesetzt. Die handwerkliche Herstellungsweise
und der massive Charakter der Möbelstücke wird dadurch
besonders hervorgehoben.
LEGNI
Legni e lavorazione
Le parti in massello della collezione Solitaire (sedie, gam-
be dei tavoli e del comò) sono realizzate in faggio. Fronta-
li, parti laterali e piani a vista sono impiallacciati in ciliegio
dogato. ”L’impiallacciatura dogata“ consiste nel comporre i
fogli di impiallaccio in maniera alternata a diverse larghez-
ze. Questa produzione artigianale trasmette al mobile un
carattere massiccio e fa risaltare la sapienza costruttiva dei
nostri artigiani.
