Die antikisierten Oberflächen werden in mehreren Arbeitsgängen unter verwendung
natürlicher Materialien von Hand aufgebracht, ausgeschliffen und gewischt, bevor die
Schellackbasis der Oberflächen ebenfalls von Hand aufgetragen und im Seidenglanz
poliert wird. Abschließend erfahren sie ein sorgfältig von Hand aufgetragenes Finish
aus Bienenwachs, das den antiken Charakter dieser einzigartigen Oberflächen
vollendet und unterstreicht.
Die Oberflächen dieser Möbelstücke sind für den schonenden Gebrauch gedacht.
Mit der Zeit entstehende Gebrauchsspuren unterstreichen den antiken Charakter
dieser Kollektion.
Die Innenflächen der Möbelstücke werden traditionsgemäß mit einem gelblichen
Harzöl, das aus der Schwarzkiefer gewonnen wird, eingelassen und mit Bienenwachs
von Hand überzogen und ausgewischt.

La base di gommalacca è usata a tampone in più cicli e rifinita poi con cera d‘api
naturale sapientemente dosata dall‘estrema capacità dai nostri lucidatori. In tal modo
si ottiene alla fine un prodotto curato ma soprattutto unico.
Le finiture di questa collezione sono pensate per essere usate con riguardo. Il rovinio
dovuto dall’utilizzo quotidiano enfatizza il carattere antico di questa collezione.
Tutte le parti interne di questa collezione sono rifinite in modo tradizionale con uso
di olio resina di color giallo estratto dal pino nero e stracciatura a mano finale di
cera d’api.
The antiqued finishes are applied, buffed, and cleaned by hand in several production
steps using natural materials before the shellac base of the finish is likewise applied
by hand and polished to a silken sheen. Finally, the surfaces receive a beeswax finish
that is carefully applied by hand, perfecting the antique character of these finishes
and bringing out their uniqueness.
The finishes of these pieces of furniture are designed for careful use. Through the
course of time, existing distressed touches will underscore the antique character of
this collection.
In accordance with tradition, the interior surfaces of the pieces of furniture are
varnished with a yellowish resin that is obtained from the Austrian pine (European
pine) and then covered by hand with beeswax and polished.
