intArsien
Die einzigartigkeit unserer Möbel ist nicht zuletzt auf
die intarsienflächen aus edlen hölzern – einem ihrer
wesentlichen Gestaltungsmerkmale – zurückzuführen.
intarsien und fileteinlagen werden in handarbeit aus Ahorn,
Kirschholz, Palisander, Paduc, nussbaum, rosenholz sowie
eingefärbten furnieren gefertigt. Dabei wird das jeweilige
Ornament als Papiervorlage auf mehreren farbigen
furnierblättern aufgelegt und ausgesägt. Anschließend
werden die ränder der ausgesägten teile mit glühend
heißem sand schattiert. Danach werden die einzelteile
sorgfältig zusammengesetzt und die fertigen furnierflächen
auf das trägermaterial gepresst und verleimt.

l’unicità dei nostri mobili è dovuta, non meno importante,
alle superfici intarsiate realizzate con legni nobili. intarsi
e filetti sono eseguiti artigianalmente in acero, ciliegio,
palissandro, paduc, noce, bois de rose e in vari impiallacci
tinti. il modello su carta dell‘ornamento scelto viene posto
su diversi piallacci colorati e quindi traforato. i bordi dei
ritagli così ottenuti vengono antichizzati con sabbia ad
alta temperatura. Poi le singole parti vengono assemblate
accuratamente e le superfici impiallacciate finite vengono
pressate sui pannelli di supporto e incollate.

the beauty of our furniture is not least the result of the
inlaid surfaces made from fine hardwoods, one of its
essential features. inlays and fillets are produced using
maple, cherry, jacaranda, paduc, walnut, and rosewood,
as well as dyed veneers. in this process, each ornament
begins as a paper stencil that is placed upon several sheets
of coloured veneer leaves and then cut out with a saw.
then the edges of the saw-cut pieces are shaded with
red-hot sand. After that, the individual pieces are carefully
assembled and the finished veneered surface is pressed
and glued to the base.

Die Verarbeitung von 4 mm sägefurnier in handgestifteter
Ausführung ist eine technik, die nur noch von wenigen
Kunsthandwerkern beherrscht wird. sie wird nach alter
tradition von Generation zu Generation weitervererbt.
Schnitzereien werden ausschließlich von Hand
gefertigt.
